Electric car 9924

Current state:

Riding

Second class large capacity electric tram, with two axles, built in 1931 by the « Ateliers de La Dyle » workshops in Leuven. It is presented in its post-war condition. Note the 2 compartments that differentiated the 2 classes until January 15, 1945, when the unique class was applied on the entire SNCV network.

The 9924 ran on urban lines of the Mons region and ended its active career on the Charleroi – Nalinnes line until its closure in 1968. It fastly helped to the track services until 1972 and was barely saved from demolition by the ASVi.

It is the first tram of our organisation!
